William S. Snell is a lawyer who worked in private practice before becoming
Corporate Counsel in the Business Development Group handling software and
company acquisitions for the fourth largest software company in the world. Bill
has also been General Counsel for three start-up companies has handled a
multitude of real estate transactions ranging from complicated commercial
building purchases and leases. In addition to residential sales and commercial
leasing, Bill has purchased apartments and commercial buildings and has
subdivided apartments into condominiums. Owning local and out of the area real
estate, along with property management, Bill has a broad understanding of all
the facets of real estate.
Bill's legal expertise in real estate foreclosure benefited TouchStone
Properties clients when it came to advising them on short sales, foreclosures
and related tax issues. In fact, other agents in the area contacted Bill for

Bill was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and received his law degree from Creighton University in 1981. He also received his
Master's Degree in Finance in 1997. He moved to Northern
California in 1985 and received his Brokers License in 1989.

Jeff Wellen has an extensive background in real estate, having worked for
various real estate related companies for over twenty years. First licensed in
the late 1980's, she began her career working for Ticor Title in the Los Angeles area. Upon
moving to Sonoma County in 1988, she provided consulting
services to a mortgage lender in the process of establishing a new business.
Once the mortgage business commenced operations, she continued to provide
marketing and advertising services as well as assisting them with loan
processing. Thereafter, while pregnant with her first child, she worked for a
real estate company assisting real estate agents with managing their
transactions. During her son's infancy, she worked as a graphic designer for
her own advertising business, mainly with real estate related companies.
Jeff worked for Fidelity National Title for ten and one-half years, beginning
in 1993. She started her career with Fidelity as a Sales Representative for Sonoma County
and was then promoted to Sales Manager. After increasing Fidelity's market
position from 6th to 1st in overall market share, she was again promoted to County Manager
of Marin. In 2004 she joined her husband, Bill Snell, in the creation and
opening of TouchStone Properties. Their joint love of real estate, and
background of personally investing in real estate, have given them an extensive
understanding of what it takes to be successful in their ever changing

Kathy La Duca moved to Santa Rosa from Palo Alto in 1990.
